a great time for American music. With
artists like LITTLE RICHARD, ELVIS
PRESLEY, CHUCK BERRY, BUDDY
HOLLY, rock and roll was born. Lush harmonies
of the DOO WOP vocal groups, driving
rhythms of the newly formed young bands, The Fifties
was a vast, rich musical period of excellent dance music
and remarkable melodies.
