The Fabulous Esquire Big Band
In 1958, four teenagers approached Paul Colaluca and asked for his help in forming a dance band in the likeness of Glenn Miller.
Thinking the idea was a crazy one, he sent the teens off
with the mission of recruiting five saxes, four trumpets,
four trombones, a bass, drums, guitar and a piano. He didn’t
plan on seeing them again. But they returned a month later,
ready to rehearse. The teens were persistent and persuasive.
The rest, they say, is history!
It was Stan Kenton who suggested to Paul Colaluca
that the training program become a non-profit foundation, giving many
generations of students access to and training in big band swing music.
The Esquire Music Foundation was formally established in 1967.

They’ve redefined classic western movie music for a
whole new generation of music fans.
Under the leadership of Foy Willing in the 40s and Cody Bryant today, they still go their own musical way with a sound that is uniquely their own. With deep roots in many American folk styles, they blend elements of the classic sound of Roy Rogers and the Sons of the Pioneers with Bluegrass, Cajun, and Bob Wills-style western swing into their own unique musical vision.

Oxalis - 6 Piece Irish Band
Oxalis (the botanical name for the North American shamrock) finds its niche in the Celtic tradition of Ireland,
preserving the time-honored tradition of musicians bound
together by an affinity for playing the tunes they have come
to love best – jigs, hornpipes, and reels as well as the
occasional story told in song.
The original members of the band came together in 1996 as Luck Money, and evolved with the talents of other musicians into Oxalis.
Oxalis brings together five accomplished musicians that feature Tom
Donovan (Flute, Whistle, Bodhran, Vocals), Daria Donovan (Celtic
AutoHarp), Swan Montgomery (Acoustic Guitar, Vocals), Ellen Campbell
(Fiddle), Linda Kodaira (Fiddle), and Bill Marks (Bass Guitar).
Come on and enjoy the spirited Celtic enthusiasm of Oxalis - a taste of Gaelic that's sure to catch your fancy.

SouthBound - Allman Brothers Tribute Band
SouthBound is more than a musical tribute to the Allman Brothers Band;
it's also one of the best darn bands you’ll ever hear in concert. Close your eyes, and you’ll think you’re
actually at the Fillmore East with the Allmans in 1971.
Even if you don’t have a clue about the Allman Brothers, SouthBound is
STILL one of the best darn bands you’ll ever hear!
SouthBound’s powerful blues-rock is uniquely
tinged with elements of country, jazz, and even classical,
redefining rock music and its boundaries. The extended on-stage
jamming is altering the standards of concert performance
in the same manner as the Allman Brothers Band at their peak: always exciting, never self-indulgent. The music has a distinctly Southern voice, which is only natural since all of SouthBound’s
players are either originally from the US South or have spent significant time there.
SouthBound recreates the lineup of the original Allman Brothers Band:
two drummers, two guitarists, bass, and keyboards. Each band member has
major performance skills; the talents blend in incredible ways.
SouthBound – the music and the spirit!
